A WAF (Web Application Firewall) protects the application. These measures have been implemented in an effort to safeguard the Personal Identifiable Information held on our servers from unauthorized and unlawful use.
When a shipping label is created, we require advanced payment via credit card. We utilize a credit card company that meets PCI Service Provider Level 1 requirements for the security of account holder and guest payments. We do not store credit card information on our servers.
Currently, you are able to process return shipments with USPS (the post office) and UPS.
Item Rescue lost item notifications do not disclose any information about the item found or about a guest's stay. All Personal Identifiable Information stored on our servers is encrypted to AES-256 standards and is delivered through a secure SSL/TLS connection.
Item Rescue is a cloud-based application, so nothing has to be downloaded. The software can be run on any device running an up-to-date internet browser.
